We stood in direct challenge to the bigger players. Self reliance was our superpower. There were no overlords in ivory towers. We weren’t accountable to anyone except our clients and ourselves.

CiA wasn’t
born yesterday.
Back in 2012, we had a crazy idea. What if all our products could be accessed via one single intuitive enterprise platform? An evolution of our Connected Intelligence (Ci) product that some of Australia’s largest corporations, government departments, universities and utility providers use every day. It would be a line in the sand, where we remove our customer’s need for direct server connectivity so they can fully harness the emerging trends of SaaS and cloud-based software.
And so, CiA was born.
We had an obsession to solve problems and it’s been a labour of love for six plus years.
Not a simple rewrite or ‘transfer’ of an existing product, but a complete reimagining of our software.
A fundamental shift that will set our customers up for the future. It is the platform that allows us to actually deliver on the TechnologyOne vision of transforming business and making life simple.
WTF is CiA?
CiA is the mothership for all our software. An enterprise resource planning platform that gives users access to our entire suite of products via one cloud-based solution.
It’s a single intuitive workplace that helps organisations manage day-to-day tasks like accounting, procurement, project management, risk and compliance management and supply chain operations. Everything they need in one central location.
The platform offers users ultimate simplicity and consistency through its interface. A pure seamless experience that’s accessible across any device, in any location, at any time of the day.
CiA not only harnesses the combined power of our products, but offers customers end-to-end implementation, support and R&D.

The CiA codebase is set up for all future innovation. It’s instantly scalable and easy to maintain. It takes away the customer’s burden of having to manage physical systems, placing the responsibility on us. Giving them freedom to focus on their day-to-day tasks.
