Chorley Council and South Ribble Borough Council futureproof community resilience with new finance system

Chorley Council and South Ribble Borough Council is demonstrating the power of collaboration by replacing its shared legacy finance software with a state-of-the-art solution, partnering with global SaaS+ company TechnologyOne.

The Councils’ selected TechnologyOne’s groundbreaking SaaS+ (Solution-as-a-Service) implementation model to fast-track the delivery of its OneCouncil Financials, automating time-consuming tasks like manual data entry and refocus staff energy on servicing their combined community of 250,000 residents.

SaaS+ sets new standards in delivering on time, on budget implementations by creating a shared incentive to get systems implemented. The model delivers value by eliminating charges for core implementation services, ensuring a seamless transition to modern technology.

Financials is designed specifically for local government, empowering community leaders with intuitive dashboards, real-time data and self-service functionality to forecast a range of scenarios to identify and assess budget shortfalls.

Chorley Council and South Ribble Borough Council are setting new benchmarks for financial resilience, sharing numerous business-critical resources to ensure their communities continue to benefit from innovative technology, operational efficiencies and improved services.
