This collaboration aims to enhance decision-making processes and ensure that public funds are directed where they are needed most. Designed specifically for local government, the new solution will replace Islington’s current financial management tool which was reliant on manual data entry and limited other parts of the council’s ability to investigate or act on financial data.
Islington is the second most densely populated authority in the UK and faces unique challenges in delivering efficient services, from housing to social care. TechnologyOne’s Financials solution will allow the council to seamlessly manage all financial information and business processes in a single integrated solution, creating a single source of truth.
Encompassing a range of forecasting tools, TechnologyOne’s Financials solution will empower the council with access to real-time data to optimise budgetary management, streamline and automate administrative processes and better anticipate community needs.
The partnership further demonstrates TechnologyOne‘s rapid expansion in the UK local government sector, achieving a fourfold increase in council uptake year-on-year.
