Runnymede Borough Council futureproofs financials with TechnologyOne

Runnymede Borough Council is embracing next generation Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology to modernise its operations. The council has partnered with global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provider TechnologyOne to replace its legacy on-premise financial system.

Runnymede will fast-track the delivery of the OneCouncil Financials platform, with TechnologyOne’s groundbreaking SaaS+ implementation model. The move will empower staff with real-time data to improve budget management, streamline administrative processes, and provide robust data to elected councillors.

The partnership will support the Council’s commitment to delivering efficient, future-ready public services.

Other UK councils are already seeing strong returns from the platform. West Lindsey District Council identified a £150,000 budget shortfall using TechnologyOne Financials and redistributed funds to power vital community programs like the Disabled Facilities Grant. More recently, another UK council uncovered over £900,000 in revenue-generating and cost-saving opportunities using the same tools.

TechnologyOne’s industry leading SaaS+ sets new standards in delivering on time, on budget implementations by creating a shared incentive to get systems implemented. The model delivers value by eliminating charges for core implementation services, ensuring a seamless transition to modern technology.
